FUN Corporate Team building
Try something new for your next corporate team building activity and get everyone in the office talking about this amazing experience!
All games are fun, unrelated and unique challenges that are not required to be completed in any order. Our adventures are of similar levels of difficulty – all of our escape room games are created for an average 20% success rate. Perfect for a corporate team building activity or an awesome office party.
Each individual team will learn to work together and put their skills to the test in a fun, competitive challenge.
To be successful, the teams must use each player’s strengths to the team’s advantage in order to accomplish a mutual goal: To solve puzzles and escape the room! Everyone must do their part. Participants will need to use logic, critical thinking and teamwork in order to accomplish the task. There are no horror elements to this escape room and physical strength is not required.
Talk about a cool team building activity! #ChallengeAccepted
Virtual Live Hosted Game Options:
The great thing about virtual live hosted games is that we are not impacted as much by the number of players per team in this regard, so tournaments are not necessary (nor practical). Our Zoom calls allow up to 300 participants, however we normally run games for 30 or fewer participants per game.
We would have 3 options for your group:
1. You could choose to run one game with all participants
– for larger groups of 20+ participants in a single game, we would recommend using some assigned speakers and usage of the chat and hands up features in Zoom to prevent everyone speaking at the same time, and also feel like they are involved throughout the experience.
2. You could split up the team into 2-3 groups and play different games simultaneously – i.e. for example we can place half the participants in The Mayor’s Office at 4 pm, and the other half in The Missing Finger at 3:30 pm.
3. You could split up the team into 2-3 (or more) groups and play the same game in consecutive time slots – i.e. for example we can place half the participants in The Mayor’s Office at 4 pm, and the other half in The Mayor’s Office at 6 pm.
If you are not certain of total number of players, we would recommend booking for the fewest you expect to attend per time slot and we can charge the card on file at the time of the appointment for final numbers.
We would recommend booking soon as spots can go at any time – www.adventurerooms.ca/booknow

Team-building
Standard Games: 2-8 players (8 Maximum)
Standard game appointments are up to 90 minutes in length, which includes 60 minutes of game play, an introduction and team photo at the end.
You may bring 8 players for a single team game, although not recommended by us. It is advised that groups of 8-14 persons book a duel competition.
No more than 8 players are permitted for a standard game due to fire safety and enjoyment purposes.
Duels: 8 – 14 Players (16 Maximum)
Duels require up to 2 hours for appointments and include:
A 10 minute introduction, 60 minutes of game play, split into 2 rounds of 30 minutes, where both teams play at the same game at the same time in different areas, and one 10 minute reset break. After the first round, participants switch areas and compete to see who gets the furthest or out in the fastest time.
Benefits of a duel:
- It offers the same experience to all players – same game.
- It adds a fun, competitive element into the experience.
- It prevents “spoilers” from each team about the “other” adventure they played (in the case of cross-room games).
- Everyone plays at the same time in duels!
- Duels don’t take much more time than a regular appointment (up to 2 hours vs. 90 minutes)
- Every game format still allows every player to play a total of 60 minutes in the adventure!
- Duels/Tournaments give a little extra time to socialize / play board games / strategize / relax between rounds
Perfect for a fun team building activity!
** We are able to host 16 player duels (8 vs 8 players) however we recommend 15 or more players participate in the Tournament format.
No more than 16 players are permitted in a duel game due to fire safety and enjoyment purposes.
Tournaments: 15 – 21 Players (24 Maximum)
Tournaments require a booking time of up to 2.5 hours and include:
A 10 minute introduction, 90 minutes of game play (3 x 30 minute rounds, with each team playing 60 minutes total. 2 teams play head to head in each round, 1 team sits out per round while enjoying our other board games in reception) and two 10 minute reset breaks.
Our maximum capacity is 24 players per tournament, however we recommend a maximum of 21. Benefits of a Tournament:
- It offers the same experience to all players – same game.
- It adds a fun, competitive element into the experience.
- It prevents “spoilers” from each team about the “other” adventure they played (in the case of cross-room games).
- Every game format still allows every player to play a total of 60 minutes in the adventure!
- Duels/Tournaments give a little extra time to socialize / play board games / strategize / relax between rounds
Perfect for a fun team building activity!
** We are able to host up to 24 players in a single Tournament (8 vs 8 vs 8). No more than 24 players are permitted in a single tournament game due to fire safety and enjoyment purposes.
More than 21 Players?
Please select one of 2 options:
• Please book consecutive duel or tournament appointments to accommodate your group size OR
• Book a tournament/duel in 3 different adventures simultaneously – please ensure they are available via our up to date online booking calendars.
I’m unsure of my number of players…
This is no problem as long as the maximum number of participants is not exceeded for your game style.
For large groups of over 8 players we recommend that you book the minimum number of players that you expect to attend in each game style. Example: for 8-10 guests, please book for 8 people if you are unsure of the total number. If you may have more than 15 players, please always book a tournament.
